Instructions

If in the Regina area, take precautions and consider sheltering in place. Do not leave a secure location. Use caution allowing others into your residence. DO NOT APPROACH suspicious persons. Do not pick up hitch hikers. Report suspicious persons, emergencies or info to 9-1-1. Do not disclose police locations.

Residents in the area are being advised to seek shelter immediately and to shelter in place. RCMP said residents should be careful about allowing others into their home and to not leave a secure location. There are multiple victims, multiple locations, including James Smith Cree Nation and Weldon. Early indications may be that victims are attacked randomly.  Keep updated here.

Suspect still at large

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police have issued a dangerous persons alert after multiple stabbings in James Smith Cree Nation, Weldon. The suspects are still at large and the community is advised to be on the lookout for them. If you see them, do not approach and call 911 immediately.

Description of suspect

Saskatchewan RCMP have issued a dangerous persons alert after multiple stabbings in James Smith Cree Nation, Weldon. They are searching for:

Damien Sanderson: five foot seven inches, weighing 155 pounds. with black hair and brown eyes.

Myles Sanderson: six foot and one inch tall and 240 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Saskatchewan RCMP have issued a dangerous persons alert after multiple people were stabbed in James Smith Cree Nation, Weldon.

In the alert issued at 8:20 a.m. CT Sunday, they said two male suspects are believed to be in a black Nissan Rogue with Saskatchewan licence plate 119 MPI.
